I run the B&M Mega Truck Shifter and have been happy with it overall. I think the bracket for the tranny could be better designed and one day I will do that, but it works. The other annoyance was the PARK detent and lockout. The shifter is designed to be universal and this particular detent is setup to accomidate a wierd Chevy tranny (I believe the 700R4) due to its extra long throw into park. After a break in period and a couple fine adjustments of the cable, I got it setup good now. I like the feel and action of it, but do wish the handle was a bit longer so I could shorten the console down a bit to make it less obtrusive.

Big Blue and Goldie,
Sorry took so long to get you pictures. The first one is with shifter in Park. Second one is with shifter in 1st. The bench seat is out of a later truck but is in the stock position.

Thanks HP246, that shifter looks cool in your truck!

It looks like it may work with a 4x4 with a little massaging to the transfer case shifter.

I beginning to think the Lokar might not be a good idea......

I'm liable to hit the parking brake like a clutch and throw it into a differnt gear as if I was driving a manual!

J/k, but it would be funny to see the look on my buddies faces if they didn't know it was an automatic!

You're welcome. It does look quite a bit like a 4 speed. IF you wanted it to look really stock you could powdercoat it.
