Lokar shifter install help
I installed my lokar shifter today and I'm having some trouble...
Tran is a C6 that was setup for column shift. So the original lever is pointing down and pushed all the forward (towards the front of the truck).
Problem is the lokar shifter locks in drive, which according to lokar and everything online it should lock in neutral. I have tripled checked this by disconnecting the rod and shifting them individually and reconnecting the rod..

I had a similar issue with mine on a C4 tranny. Ended up that I misread the instructions and how they meant the J arm to be. So I had the J arm on backwards. So I was getting locked in drive as well.
By switching the J arm around it was causing the notches on the shifter to not fall into the correct alignment.
