No problem Big Six. I am not trying to hijack the thread but merrily trying to help out the OP. He mentioned wear and I also have it, I was hoping someone with more experience/knowledge would butt in. But, it was also related to him, not me leading onto something else. It has to do with his (possible) alignment issue.
And I didn't see a hijack, anywhere--certainly not by you, so again, no worries, mate! (No, I'm not from Australia, but I always seem to enjoy Australian movies--LOL). It's "all good," as the "kids" say.

I'm glad to see you found your local TTB experts. And it sounds like your original instincts were good, in that the frame shop you liked when you first went looking is the one to know--good call! As I said, IMO, for certain items/services, it's better to spend once (even if it's pricey) than to do it twice (or more? And then have to buy new tires--LOL).
