Good luck Pat! I am hoping the line was your problem. The other thing i can think of is if one of the compression fitting are not tight.

Did you do the harpoon mod as well???

Probably just a weak spot in the hose. Being under suction there and not under pressure. I bet you are good now. Just think of them decorations like sprinkles on a cup cake.

Hope it turns out good as it is a pain to re-do what you just did. I just did mine about two weeks ago and so far so good. Look at the bright side I would rather be doing it at 80 and 88% than 20 and 30%.

I think I would take a 1/2 inch off the pick-up tube. Sounds like you are a pro at dropping the tank.

Well, I haven't done the in-tank mods on my truck but I did run into a similar problem with an older vehicle where I had a fuel starvation problem after replacing a fuel sender/pump assembly in the tank. I fought it for days. what happen in my case is when the tank and all the stuff was on the ground - it worked perfectly, when I raised the tank and secured it to the frame, the supply fuel line in the tank would drop down enough during the raising process and would cause my starvation issue. Just a random guess that you may have something like that going on.
