Did you replace your dead pump with another stock pump?
Is that filter rated the same as the one taken out of the fuel pump?
This is the next mod on my list.
At the time I replaced it with a Carter replacement from Napa. I have since replaced the Carter with a new Ford pump and put the Carter in the toolbox as a spare. I now also have a lifter pump spliced in after the Baldwin filter and feeding the stock pump. So far that set up is great and it feels a little peppier perhaps.
The line is collasped right at the tank connection, like something is restricting the flow at the tank, going to se about dropping my tanks during lunch. Wish me luck, there is 40 gallons in the tank. F&*K!!
I started the truck withteh tank down, pump sounded good, raised the tank back up.
I have everything back together, I just am out of time for a ride.. Man 80* and 88% humidty does not help a job like this.. Cross your fingers, If it sdoes not work, I guess I will be trimming my pick up, but I dont know.
I have turned the key on again, pump sound good right now, will have to take a ride, but I just got changed back into my "work" clothes and have to go hit the floor.
Okay, So i changed out of my goo clothes to some good ol fashion work clothes, I have the gloves so I dont look to goofy walking around with grease everywhere, But what do I forget?? A hat.. so now I have rust and debrie all through what little hair I have, and since I have little hair, it makes it easier to see the rust and what nots
