Alright so what i thought was my power steering pump squealing is actually coming from one of my driver side ball joints. Is this common for them to squeal when they get worn out? If they need to be replaced, would it be cheapest to get these from Ed?
Looks like that would be the culprit. You could try to pry up the rubber boot and spray in some lube. This could help until it is replaced. With it raised up, the lube can under the ball of the joint.
Mine is doing the same thing on the passenger side. I replaced the driver's side a couple of months ago with Napa Premium ball joints, but the passenger side is still tight but it squeaks when I turn the wheel.
