Why don't people ever stop to think "Is putting 10-15 amps through 50ft worth of 22 AWG gauge wire really a good idea?"
Had a trailer come in where the dealer had rewired the lights and replace several dead lights and bad plugs int he process but hooked everything up through this tiny gauge wire that at best is rated I think for 6 or 7 amps so of course everything is melted and the customer is complaining about "A smoky smell in the trailer.".
