I get my Motorcraft oil filters from AZ.
But yes, a lot of the hard parts at AZ are of less quality than OE. But that doesn't stop me from taking advantage of their rewards program. I can easily spend 20 bucks a visit on little things like fluids, bulbs and random supplies.

but please, tell me, where should i be purchasing my parts? should i be at the dealer whenever i need a part? do you guys run the fram engine oil filters you can get at autozone, or are they junk and you go to the dealer for a geniune motorcraft filter? is everything at autozone junk, or just certain parts? please educate me. i acknowledge the guys working the counters are typically goofs, but tell me more about their parts...
The Motorcraft filter #YC3Z7A098BA is available through Ed at y2kfordparts.com for $19.31 versus the MSRP which is at $35. That's only a dollar and half higher than the crappy Autozone filter.
