My technician just replaced the high pressure oil pump and 2 injectors in my 2006 F350 CC dully 2wd it has 110646 miles on the truck (ouch!). I have owned the truck about 4 months. Is this going to be a recurring thing or a 1 time fix. This my first 6.0 diesel.

Some changes have been made since 2009, like head torque sequence, but still it is better than nothing and not really critical. The main information is still valuable.

Does anyone have a link for the WSM? I just did the coolant flush and the service guy gave me a copy 3-03 but it had references to another portion for fill procedures and it would have been nice to have them to follow. I know they say to pull the block plugs, but the IH tech said to not bother them so theres some conflicting info out there. But the WSM would be nice.

Is there any major issues with the 6.0L PSD engine? I talked to an owner and he said his had cracked heads at 50K and from his research this seems to be inherent with this engine. He did a lot of hauling with his and said he put over $10K in repairs in less then 100K. He finally got rid of it and bought an older 7.3L truck-this seems to be the engine of choice.
I've got 42K on my '05 with no problems-YET!!!!

Don't sweat the small stuff Bakerr, plenty of trucks running with no problems. High heat will do funny things, pulling heavy loads and ignoring the obvious can lead to big repairs. Stay informed and educated, that is why FTE has been a big help to many.

Thanks All, been looking for info on my 03 6.0. Got a massive oil leak under turbo but can not pin point it yet, ICP, turbo oil line? Lot of oil in a short amount of time. HPOP replaced 12,000 miles back. 160,000 miles on F-350 and this is only 2nd problem (when I find it). How do I put idle speed adjustment on this motor?

Turbo oil drain tube maybe, could have messed up the o-rings when installing.
