Lug nuts

I already searched and still could not come up with a definite answer. I have an 02
and am trying to figure out if the lug threads are the 1.5 pitch or the 2.0.
Trying to get a new abs sensor and it just makes more sense to order the whole hub and bearing assembly for only $30.00 more and it already has a new sensor.
Thanks.

They switched to 1.5 fine in '02 and hopefully it wasn't late '02. Look them up on Ebay and there should be info in there. I tried to sell some in there and caught my mistake an hour before I shipped. 99 thru 01 are coarse thread for sure. Most ads say 99-02 is coarse but they don't say to or thru. I think they are fine.

Fine someone with a thread pitch gauge, it's a very simple tool. The one I have came with a Tap and Die set.

Wow, the hub assembly cost me $350, I bought OEM ford because if you don't, you can't replace just the abs sensor. The sensor was $80 or so i thought they said. Are you going with aftermarket hub?

Yep, ebay sensor 65.00 I think and ebay hubs 89.00.

For that price I will be getting 2, one for each side even though all is well at this point minus the one abs sensor. Oem sensor 112.00 and hub in and around 250.00 each.

You should be able to look at those threads to see if they are coarse or fine. I don't know why they have to keep changing everything
