I just bought the Prodigy brake controler for my 04 F250. Was wondering where most people place it? I have a 2-way radio and Sirus mounted in the middle under the stock radio and really don't want it on the left so I hit my leg getting in or out. So where should it go?
When installing the Prodigy in My 06 F150, the instructions said to keep the controller at least 18" away from the CB radio as it could interfere with the operation of the conroller. So I mounted it on the left of the steering column and do bang my knee occassionally.
For the OP, are you a particularly tall person? I have my controller mounted to the bottom dash below the cubby hole. Not even close to touching it with my leg, and I even have my seat further forward that guys with an auto because I have to reach the bottom of the clutch.

I'm 6'5" and I have my P3 mounted in the exact same spot. No issues here.

I am 6'2". In my 99 Yukon I have the controler on the left and hit my shin. I will check a few places tomarrow and see If I can come up with somethind. I will also post a photo so you can see whats in the way.

I think anybody would have that problem with the controller on the left. That's why we mount it on the right.
If you're concerned about having the controller and CB close to one another then maybe you can mount the controller on top of the dash or in an overhead console? It needs to be within easy reach so you can throw the brakes manually.
