RAP and GEM modules...???

RAP and GEM modules...???
What are they? 3 days ago i was sittin in the truck listenin' to the radio when my foot tapped the brake pedal. All of a sudden the radio quit. Well i had a few minutes before i had to be at work so i ran to Advanced auto to get some new fuses. The one blown was number 20 that controls the radio, RAP module, and the GEM module. I replaced it and now it works fine, until tonight. I got in it and turned the radio off to listen to the motor (i removed the intake silencer). Went to turn the radio back on, and nothing. The radio is after market, but i actually paid for a wiring harness instead of wiring it myself. Any opinions or theories are welcome. Thanx.

Gem is gereral electronics module. controls lights, wipers, and bunch of other things.
Rap is remote anti-theft personality module. controls alarm system.
How long have you had the radio? Maybe the radio is pulling to much current, what is the output wattage and how does it compare with the stock one?

I've had it about 7 or 8 months. And this is the first time it has ever happened. I replaced the fuse the second time last night. We'll see how long it lasts. It is more powerful thn the stock radio, but not by that much.
