Well I wouldn't go bragging 600 HP until you have the dyno sheet to back it I have seen several people bragging about their horse power, get some numbers before you start bragging now or you'll be like the rest of the trolls .

I was on here looking for info on a PSD we have, gave a simple reply to the original ? when everyone else said it couldnt be done. Well, it can. I dont mean to start anything, just a little friendly conversation. I know I was on here before when I still had the powerstroke in here, and couldnt get much help on questions I was asking. At the time, I knew more about Cummins and could swap cheaper than what it would cost me to rebuild the powerstroke.
BigCat. I really wasnt bashing the PSD until others starting bashing me. Anyhow, it doesnt matter. My truck is 4x4. Im not sure what kinda hp its makeing, havent been to the dyno yet, might be a while before I get there. I got laid off from work a couple weeks ago, so dont have much money to play with. As for the underdog, sounds like you might be, but you never know. Im haveing lift pump issues right now, I think Im using more fuel than the Carter mechanical can deliver, so if I cant get the boost you would have me, but Ive been able to leave the line at over 35 psi lately.
So I just read through 3 pages of b.s. looking for an answer in regards to the original topic. So, SDCummins, if this alleged smoke switch can be done in a SD. Could you please give some instructions on how to do so? Otherwise this thread should be done away with because it is going nowhere fast.
That involves pulling that stupid v-8 out and droppin in an inline 6 thats pushing just over 600 hp on fuel only.
He was refering to the 5.4 v8..........
If the truck had the crappy 5.4 Id yank it out in a hearbeat for the l6. Im about ][ close to yanking the v10 out of my F450 for a 12v cummins swap. that pile has under 60k and tossed one if its rods out the side, probly from a few of the 6000rpm uphill runs with a 10k skidsteer on the back, lol.

The answer was in the first post I made. We hooked the switch up thru the bully dog wiring though, so Ill have to check wire colors of the Ford Harness. Im pretty sure it was the right two wires then looking at the map sensor plug plugged in.
Its easily done. We just did it on a 2000 with the Bully Dog Power Pup. Where the map sensor plugs in, I tapped the red and white wires on the Bully Dog Harness and put a switch in there. It works great.
What gauge wire did you use? Can you explain a little bit better? I have a 2000 7.3 also and I'd like to wire one in.

You do realize you're answering a 7 year old thread right? Chances are a lot of these people are no longer active in this forum.
Plus this thread serves no purpose and this action is now illegal in some states due to the dumb actions of some diesel owners over the last few years.
