Definitely sounds like a troll to me. The cummins is a great engine but it's in a dodge. They are government owned right now to and their trucks don't last like a Ford or a Chevy. just my opinion though.,.
LMAO thats awesome Scott I forgot about those PSN vids. I agree, anyways FerdKilla I am sorry to break your heart but the 6.4s are eating the "Mighty Cummings" alive and will only get better.
Im not a FerdKilla, In my preference the powerstroke cant pull what a Cummins can. Im not bashing either engine, Ive built just as many PSD's as I have Cummins. Just when someone tells me that I will get spanked by a real truck, screw that. We have 3 of the more powerful trucks around that tow daily. 2 F-250s and my F-550. These trucks see just as much time hooked to the trailer as they do anything else. I know how to build an efficient engine that doesnt smoke excessively. We put a smoke switch on the 2000 today just because everyone says it cant be done on the PSD. Bull crap, it can be done. The only reason we put it on there is so he can puff some smoke when he leaves school and when passing a car that pulls out in front of him. And, the acceleration off the line is kick *** with the switch on.
Screw the dodge truck. I didnt say anything about a dodge in any of my post. Ill guarantee my Ford powered with a Cummins will outpull any other Ford out there. Dont believe, lets go. I know for a fact a PSD cant pull like I can. Definitely cant lug down.

I was about to tip my hat to you. Until I read the last two sentences. Leaving school? Kick-*** acceleration with the smoke switch on? If you're getting more acceleration at WOT with the smoke switch on, you need tuning work.
EDIT: I bolded the sentence that caught my eye. That's as good a reason to do something as any other in my book.

Not more acceleration at WOT, off the line it has more. Yeah, the truck I put it on belongs to a Senior in High School. Dont go bashin, hes had a hard time. His dad wad killed in a vehicle accident and he had a 99 F-250. It was totalled in the wreck. I found him this 2000 because he always wanted a truck like his dads. He is like a brother to me and is very responsible with his things. For being 17 years old, he works like hes in his 30's. As do I, Im only 24, but I work and pay for all my own things, especially my truck. He has been wanting a little smoke, nothing major. Seems everyone says a smoke switch is impossible on a 7.3 WRONG, its very easy to put on. He has a Bully Dog Power Pup with the incab monitor so he can turn it up or down on the fly. The Bully Dog wouldnt smoke, unless leaving from a dead stop with the skinny pedal on the floor. The truck is tuned pretty good, doesnt need any more power than what it already has. Just wanted a little smoke to show all the little imports and gassers who is the real boss. Trust me, there isnt a truck around owned by anyone near his age paid for by himself that can keep up.
O, JCRAMMELL, Im not sensitive. I posted a simple answer to the ? that was asked in the first post. Everyone else jumped me first, Ill take it, but Ill give it right back at ya.
Should just have him get a DP-tuner or some custom tunes man instead of that tranny eating Bullydog chip. People get touchy here about the smoking especially with H.S. guys, the cops are really starting to crack down and its getting crazy now in TX. Leave the ignorant acting to the dodge boys and chevy kids.
Yeah, the bully dog isnt my choice. I wouldve put something else in there, but he ordered it without me knowing til after the fact. Hes had good luck so far with it, but another buddy of mine has the same setup and has been thru 2 trannys already. I love my 6 speed, wouldnt trade it for an auto anyday.

Where are you located? Where can we hook up? I would give it a shot.
