Which Transmission Do I have?
Hey guys I just bought my uncle's bronco, it's a 1986 Eddie Bauer Full size bronco, it has the 351 windsor and it's 4x4. I Have no idea which tranny I have I think i've narrowed it down to the C6 or C4?? Can anyone help me out..........? If not where can I look to see what it is? Thanks alot, sean.

If it's a 3spd auto, then yes, it's a C6. The C4s weren't put into Broncos.
C6s are tough as nails, but they rob power and fuel mileage due to a lack of an OD and no locking torque converter.
