Axle Identification

I have a 1979 Ford F-150 Ranger Lariat 4WD. I am trying to figure out what axles are under it. I'm sure the rear end is a 9 inch with 3.50 gears. Here's the info. The tag in the door reads 16A for the axle. The front axle's tag reads 3.50 D9TA AAA and 610047-4. The rear axle was more difficult with a small tag reading 8G25, an upside down 74 stamped directly into the case and the tag reading WDM-C with 3 50 underneath. The rest of the tag is obviously broke off. Thanks for any info you guys have.

According to:
http://www2.dana.com/pdf/X510-8DSD.pdf

610047-4 = Dana 44 / 3.50

Sounds like you're correct on the rearend being a Ford 9" / 3.50

16A:

16 = 1975/79 Ford 9" rear axle / 3750 lbs capacity / 3.50 open differential
A = With adjustable steering column and power steering.

D9TA AAA:
Dana ID no: 610047-4 / Dana 44-9F / 3.50 ratio / non free running hubs / non-locking differential / 3500 lbs capacity

WDM-C:
Complete code is WDM-CN. Uses 1330 joints. Matches the rear axle decoded in first paragraph.

Thanks a bunch you guys. I am running 10.5X31.00-15R tires on a 15X8 rim and am thinking about going with 12.5X33.00 tires on these same rims. Would I need to change my gear ratio from 3.50 or is it fine. If so what would be a good ratio?

i would think 33''s w/a 3:50 ratio would be fine for general usage, for towing or offroad performance a 4:10 ratio would be better.
