Aluminum rad?

So the stock rad on my '78 F-150 with a 300 Straight six is cracked...or from what my dad told me. Because I always have to put coolant in it everytime I go to drive it on the farm.

Anyone know the size of the stock rad so I can match it with an aluminum rad? Or could I go for a bigger rad?

depends on what you mean by bigger you can alweays add a thicker radiator but wider can be tricky just measure the width for me and I will be back with some different rads for you. do you prefer cross flow or down flow

in any case here is a link to a large selection looks like 27 wide is your only option for a direct fit model but you can get up to 3in thick so a lot of room there for you

Try this guy out too. I got my radiator through him and have been very impressed, especially considering the price. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/FORD-...Q5fAccessories
