I tired of replacing the rad in my 1994 f-350 5.8l every couple years. The aluminum and plastic factory style rads never seem to last, they always start leaking where the plastic tanks go on.Does anyone know of a copper/brass rad that will fit in my truck?
I had a copper/brass one in my truck for a couple years after the OEM one crapped out, and it ended up leaking too in 2 years. My truck also did not run as cool with it. I put a stock replacement in it. Just get one with a lifetime warranty. Thats what I did.
That one from Summit looks exactly like the one I had. I also didn't like it because the neck for the cap was angled and its hard to see how much coolant is in it. Usually Summit has good stuff, but I don't think that radiator is. I could be wrong though.
