How wide is the bed?
Does anyone know if a the bed in a 2000 F-250 short-bed is actually square? I was trying to buy a used camper top this weekend, and it didn't seem to fit right (even though the guy said he had it on his 2002 f-250). The camper top measured 73" wide in the front and back.
I measured my bed, and it seems a few inches narrower in the rear than it is in the front. Is this how it is supposed to be, or is my bed messed up?
I'm trying to determine if (a) the top was not designed for my series and the guy was lying to me, (b) my bed is not square for unknown reasons, or (c) the camper top possibly got warped.

Thanks for the replies. I'm going to call the camper top manufacturer with the serial #, but I'm doubting that the guy trying to sell it actually had the top on his '03 f-250 (unless it coincidentally warped to 73" wide f/r, which I doubt).
The important thing is that the bed is in fact narrower in the rear than the front (and that my truck's bed isn't warped or not true).
