**Hi I have a 99 Ranger 2wd with the 3.0 auto (4R44E) transmission.
Yesterday my ABS lights came on, the speedometer quit working, and it won’t shift out of first. I put a new (VSS) sensor on my rear housing. Then I started it up, the ASB light went out, I thought I had it fix, but road tested, it still wont shift, and the speedometer still don’t work, the only thing the new VSS sensor fix was the ABS light are now out.
Would anyone know what to try next? Thanks JLSIOWA

Reason: to many words
Do these trucks use a PSOM like some of the older ones. It sounds like it could be a PSOM problem but I don't know if they used them on Rangers or any thing else in 99.
