Power steering Whine??
I know this has probably been covered before but i couldn t find it on the forum. I have had this on every ford I have ever owned besides my diesel's, when you turn and get the famous whine from what I assume would be the power steering unit.
My question is can anything be done to eliminate this whine? besides changing out the powersteering unit itself. Or is it just some thing I have to continue to live with?

Ive seen a lot of people on here talking about it. I dont know off hand but there is a power steering pump they recommend that fixes the problem. Supposedly, Ford pumps are known for being loud and whiny. So... youre either gonna have to live with it or go out and get a new pump.

Thanks for the tip on the other post's here ArdWrknTrk , i dont know where i was looking but i got a new signaw pump on order now, cant wait to get it in now. thanks for the help
