Missing Out

Well, I finally found an '80-'86 F250 near where I live (9 mles away) and I'm gonna miss out.

The truck is an '85 F250, Automatic, 460 v8, and 97k original miles!!! It's 2wd, but it would be just a summer fun truck anyway. But the truck is 100% original, 1 spot of rust on the bed (the ONLY sopt), it's a larait, paint is brwon and white (not too fond of it, but it can be reapinted later on). The best part: only $1700!!!

But of course, the parents said no. Oh well

I know, it sucks. They say it would get terrible gas mileage and this other crap even though I drive an escape that gets 10 mog in town, a 2wd F250 would be 9 or 10. Plus they're always complaining because we have to borrow a truck from my dad's work whenever we need to haul *****.

You wanna bet on that? That's all my dad got when he drove it for 3 years before I got it and Ive had it for a year. Got it checked out, nothing wrong. Gets about 10 in town and 21 or 22 on the highway.

It has a 13.5 gallon tank. The most I have gotten out of it is 150 miles, ONE TIME. I usually get 120-130 miles out of a tank.

Keep in mind that this is in town.

like i said . go back to math class. By Your miles you are getting less than 8 MPG Being a escape has a 16.5 gallon tank. Which is completly impossible. Fuel would be running out the tailpipe

And btw, why would I lie about it? Do you honestly think that I would waste my time arguing with you just because I "felt" like saying my escape got 10 mpg?
