cold miss
I did a bunch on maintenence work on my 92 F150 with a 302 today and I think its still going to have a cold miss,I installed a new thermostat,temp sensor,throttle position sensor and cleaned the throttle body as it was nasty and new plugs and wires. It will miss only when cold and goes away when warm and I am wondering if it has a sticking injector or possibly a weak ignition part as the distributor and module are original to the truck and have about 250,000 miles on them and the injectors I do not know as it was a used motor that was remanufactured with probably less then 50.000 and came from a van with 140,000. I think the throttle position sensor cured that problem and a few others too,it and possibly the coolant temp sensor cured the cold miss,irratic high idle when cold,light throtttle shutter. Jeff
