whale, I took it to a local dyno shop and the guy was having trouble getting his dyno calibrated. How do I know this?
player-haters would say it's because the truck read with final numbers WELL below anything that was postulated here.
I would tell those same player-haters that my first run was 10 lbs of rwtq - yes, that's a TWO digit torque number. Call me crazy, but I'm thinking maybe it makes a little more than a lawnmower engine...(rollers were unloaded)
second run was 4,000 lbs of rwtq. OH YEAH, BABY!!!! Tell the 10-holers they can SUCK IT!!! But wait, there's more: the third run was 11,000 lbs of rwtq!!! SOMEBODY GO GET ME AN ASTROPHYSICIST because I'm about to alter the axis of the Earth with this stone cold double fisted torque monster!!! Those 24V bankruptcy rig drivin punks, err, dodge owners, can EAT ME RAW!!!!!
By the fourth pull, my ol' Panzer had, according to the software, 25 diameter tires (33" procomps, actually), weighed 8,500 lbs (6,800) and had a final drive of 2.91 (3.55) in order to produce numbers that made even a lick of sense.
SO....the jury's still out. There is another shop and little farther away, and they have done ALL my dyno work previously and their rig (a daily calibrated water brake Land and Sea unit) was always spot on. I'll be heading over there when the schedule allows...and then a winneh shall be declared.
Thanky, boys. Here's the kicker. Son-of-a-gun wasn't recording on the 4,000 or the 11,000 run!!! ARGH!! You can bet your ayass I would have put that SOMEWHERE and then watched the haters roll in!! That would have been GREAT!
