Syntek?

Anybody use Syntek? It is a fuel additive that is supposed to remove water, stabalize fuel, increase fuel mileage, improve power, as well as provide anti gel for diesels. I guess i was wondering if anybody has used this or if it is any good for our engines?

I've never heard of it. I've heard of people using Stanadyne, Diesel Kleen, Opti-lube, Howe's, and Lucas. Most base it on this independent test http://www.johnfjensen.com/Diesel_fu...itive_test.pdf.

Oh, and welcome to FTE.

I am waiting for a product like that plus, an additive in it to clean my fuel filters so you only have to change them every 100,000 miles.

You're going to be waiting a while since that's not possible.

I'm using Opti-Lube XPD now, still on the first tank. It has 3-4 times the lubricity of Diesel Kleen (from an independent test) along with a Cetane Boost and anti-gel. The injectors sound quieter/smoother, similar to when I ran a tank with 16oz 2-stroke oil but without the smoke.

It has a money back guarantee. I bet if you used that and Hot Shots...man, just think of the positive outcome.
