Anyway, the Arctic one has the internal parts nickel plated to help lubricate it to run JP Fuels. Kinda like gasoline, NO Lubricity, close to the ULSD fuels. Anyway interesting info.

No need for it if you run on regular diesel fuel off the pumps, it's when you start burning stuff like gas and kero when you may need it, but even then they make all sorts of fuel additives that you can (and probably should) use to cure the lack of proper lubricity.

if i were you i would just go get the pump from orielly for a few reasons one being the warranty.... true there are warranties from some online companies but if you need it YOU have to package it up and YOU have to pay for postage and other cost. but buying it at the parts store down the road if it goes out just take it off take it in and get another.... Second reason.... shipping no shipping at the parts store other than the fuel to get there. you may pay sales tax but most online sites now will charge a sales tax based on your shipping zip code weather you no it or not so you pay for part, tax, and shipping ordering offline. and reason number 3 is................................................ ......... WAIT TIME during shipping. on something that means the difference between the truck running and not running i dont like to wait personally

and there is no need for an artic IP in the United States due to fuel has lube in it as the guy above said (they sell both)

you do what you do and how you want because its your choice and your personal preference will prevail im just chuckin my 2 cents in cause im bored right about now
