key?
Anyone know how to get keys made besides the dealer? They want $150 for one! I have an 06 F150 XLT scab. Also how about the keyless entry fob outer case mine is broken so it won't stay on my keyring. Remote still works case is broken!

Call some local locksmiths, they are usually a little cheaper. Had to replace the ignition switch on a 2000 Focus. Ford wanted about $250 to install a new cylinder and rekey it. Locksmith came to my house, keyed it, installed it, and made a spare chipped key for $150.

Under $20 for 2 fobs shipped to your door. Just search for the code on the back of your current Fob
Same thing for replacement keys
If you only have 1 key currently, buy a replacement (or 2) online, then visit a Dealer or Locksmith. I paid $45 for the Dealer to program 1 key on my Mustang...but I provided the key. Would have been $150+ if they had provided the key

they cut mine for free 1-2 times...otherwise I got charged like $2.00
