well I was deployed to saudi on 09/11/2001 and arrived at eskan village 12 hrs before the 9-11 attack happened. So we were the first mp co to arrive to clear buildings after the 11Bs went through. My co decided that to help with ammo accountability the arms room issued you 5 mags of 223, 1 was a regular mag and the other 4 had a strip of 100 mph tape across the top. When we had worked our way to the 5th floor of an apt building I was about through my first mag and we ran into some insergents and after firing a couple rounds at them they ran into the kitchen area and dissapeared. We moved in to clear the room and realized they slid into a passage behind the fridge into the next room. They came back through the hole in the wall and began firing at us i ducked behind the kitchen counter and dropped my mag I was trying to load because i was trying to get the tape off. Luckily I had my m9 with a full mag. 2 in the head one in the chest and he was done. My team got the rest of them in the other room. I was glad I was an mp that day as we were one of a few mos's to recieve a sidearm. Man that is the first time I have ever told that story or any story for that matter since ive been out. Guess its easier to get it out when your not having civilians giving you judgemental looks for killing rag heads. We wernt baby killers just doing our jobs.

Awesome story! My heart sped up just reading it! Thanks for sharing and thanks for putting your life on the line for service to our country. Sorry, I am out of rep for today. Got trigger happy this morning and shot off all my rep. That's as close to combat as I'll ever get!

I liked the old Scottsdale trim package. BTW, 82-100 you can use the quote or even multi-quote feature for your replys and it's a little more convenient and easier to follow and who said what to whom.

Quote is simple but for the multi-quote it's a little more involved. You have to click a check in the box of each post you want to reply to (upper right in the blue band) and then click quote in the very first post you've selected to reply to. I don't do it that often, so for me it's been trial and error. Plus the website is still having posting issues.

Okay, it is a little more complicated and I was incorrect. Click off the boxes, then click the "multi-quote" button right next to the "quote" button. Yeah, it's not real simple, but keep trying and you get it done!

where to post

I have an 87 f150 with a carb 351w

I know body wise post over there in the 87-95 forums.
But my carb questions would be better answered in the 80-86 forums.

where do I post?

Like do I have a feed back carb? (not one wire hooks to the carb)
