I have a marine488mercruiser, its a 4cyl merc block witha ford 460 head,224 cu inch 190 hp. someone rebuilt it and after 5 hrs use the topside of the dpiston chipped and I can see the ring groove!!! I need one piston and one ring set. It has a emblem next to the h535# looks like an s in a shield??

305 Ci. = about 4.998 liters, so yes, technically a 4.9 but it's at the point of rounding up.
the 307 from oldsmobile is technically a legit 5.0, but has no power compared the the ford 305.
the 351 comes out to about 5.75 liters, so rounding up again, 5.8
and the 460 is 7.53, so 7.5 liters.
just thought I'd clear it up a bit.


the 305 is so close to being a 5.0, calling it a 4.9 would have been an insult.

I went to walmart today did my shopping and paid for my things at a self check. I spent $101.53. The printer was down, so they did not have a receipt for me. I went to leave and they stopped me.
I explained why I did not have a receipt, and the manager, Robert, called me a liar and told me I could either pay again,
or leave the store with out my items. I asked him ( politely )
to please go and look at the security tapes or talk to the employee that watches the self check. He refused and called me a lair again. I just had to pay again.

EDIT: To add to this, the computerized cash registers have got records, too, as will the
credit card processor.

What you just experienced (if YOU are telling the truth, you could be lying to us) is one of
the joys of being a 17yo kid, many people won't want to trust you.

As a general rule, I will never try to leave a merchant without a receipt (I typically put it in
the bag).

 

Walmart is very well known for hiring illegals from south of the border mayng.
