Chat/topicless thread...
ALL cash register transactions are monitored by a loss prevention team, there are records of that, and will be on record for the next fiscal year, if not longer.
the video part, that most likely will be gone by the end of the week.
so make sure you get a hold of them real quick, complain as much as possible, get bank statements showing that you paid twice within a 10 minute period etc. etc.
$100 of goods and no receipt is a good way to ask for trouble, and this is worse if
you're a teenager (and is even worse if you've got various & sundry body
piercings you're displaying and/or spiked, purple hair and/or oversize, baggy
pants with the waistline down at your knees).
He flatly refused.
But I learned my lessen.
Buy from HEB, they take your money ONE time and say have a nice day when you leave.
Yeah; the attendant at the little booth can print you a receipt, trying to leave with

The ending to that was hilarious!
I doubt you will come across this, but, if this happens at a JCPenney, ask to speak to the supervisor, they will be forced to by JCPenney company rules to print you off a new receipt.
It's a loss prevention issue...and there is a survey they want you to fill out, it makes their stores look better haha.
(i don't work there anymore, but I know every rule and regulation in their books
)
These guys were armed. 5 against 1. I told them that when the cops came they would go to jail for theft since they were stealing from me. I got my material back and left. I made numerous calls to the main office and visited many home depots to get this harassment stopped. I finally succeeded.
Bottom line is it is a violation of your 4th amendment to submit to search. Sams club is different since it is a subscribed club, but the others have no right to stop you once you pass the point of purchase unless they have reason to believe you stole. You do not have to show your receipt once you pass the check out.
Stand your ground and do not give up your rights just because the sheeple do.
I am sorry if this seems trivial but I am a proud AMERICAN with constitutional rights. Never give in.

leave with the stuff I had bought? I wish I had known that 5 hours and $101.53 ago.
BTW, I do not look like ctubutis was saying at all. I am very clean cut.

The police have to ask your permission to search, so if you show receipt that you bought it and that they took your belongings then you can press charges on them for theft.
It is not your fault that they put items for purchase after the point of checkout.Stopping you after the point of purchase is illegal, unless they suspect you of theft. They have to be 101 percent sure that you stole.
I have a couple of crown vic stories. The reasons that the cops settled down in those situations was because I was a recovery agent pulling people out of there houses while everyone slept.
I have to go now but I will tell you about out driving a state trooper when I get back.
It went on a bit of a tangent and some people said that you should just show the receipt. I think the main point was overlooked. If everyone gives in, then what else do you silently give up?
Anyway, I was on my way to pick him up one night to go on a hunt. I like to see how fast I can drive without using brakes or crossing the center line. To me it shows a real driver over a sloppy driver.
I had one contact in my eye and was drinking a 32 oz soda on a very hilly and curvy hwy. I came upon a red light at highland and burbank and turned left. I thought a cop was behind me but was not sure. when I stopped at the next light on burbank, the cop pulled me over. I stepped out and set my soda on the roof and asked what was wrong. He said that he thought I was a cop, but had to make sure since I never used my brakes and was driving a crown vic. He told me that I out drove him in the curve on burbank and that he would not have caught me if I had not stopped for the light. He asked me to slow down and not wreck on his shift. I thanked him and went to get my brother.
I thought it was sad that he was trained and had a police interceptor and could not keep up.
