Possibly. Except then you'd need a fence to keep them in place and that's more effort than just hiring me to mow it once a month or so.
And Dave I've got a little story for you about batteries.
There once was a kid who knew an awesome guy who gave him batteries. The kid went to install them in his PSD. Everything was going well. He hooked up the drivers side battery no problems. He then put the passenger side battery in and hooked the positive. He then went to hook the negative. Suddenly the battery decided it wanted to be a welder. One of the posts melted right off the battery. The kid pulled both batteries out and plans on replacing his battery cables because that should NOT have happened.
Glad it was only the battery that melted down and not a piece of jewelry you might have been wearing.
And that the battery took the hit versus the truck catching on fire.
Eh those batteries are dual terminal, so you can adapt to the side terminals if you have the clearance.
There is an improvement for the side connection attachments as follows:
Toss out the GM battery terminal bolts
Get some full-thread 3/8" coarse thread bolts and nuts & lock washers
Run the nut up to the bolt head and follow with the lock washer
By hand install the bolt (et. al.) into the side terminal.
Back the bolt off bottom about a half a turn
Steady the head of the bolt with a wrench, and then tighten the nut / lock-washer up against the cable lug.
Go easy on the torque of the nut, but you can get a little more torque on that nut for a better connection than you can torquing GM's bolt as there isn't the 'drilling' action because the bolt isn't turning.
night all.
Pete, good luck mowing that area. dont use the lawn tractor , cause something tells me if the weeds were up to the doors on pinkie, the mower wont do so good. and watch out for that rock. dont mow that, it "might" hurt the big mower.
