Keypad question

I just bought a 2007 F150 Badlander on Monday. The dearlership I bought it from did not have the keypad code. Is there anyway to reset it?

Thanks

Welcome to Ford-Truck Enthusiasts!

You would have to know the original code to put a new one in.
-Or have your dealership (provided that its a Ford dealer) scan and give it to you for $.

Then there is removing the backseat (provided that its a Scab or S-crew) and looking on the back wall for the KEM-the code should be on a label on this KEM (Keyless Entry Module).

Here is a link to a article explaining how to remove the backseat and locating the KEM:https://www.ford-trucks.com/article/...2008_F150.html

But IMHO- I'd have the dealer do what they can to "keep" the sale first.

the dealership should be able to look it up for you if you push them.

I just gone done today taking my back seat apart to figure out what my code was. Then I had to take apart the door cuz the wiring harness was not hooked up. Funstuff.

Now it all works!!
