I bought my 99 Explorer with one of those number keypads on the door for unlocking the doors and such, but the previous owner did not know the code. Does anyone know how I can go about obtaining the correct code?

 

Not sure if any of this will help but after looking online I found this to obtain the factory code.


•This code is located on the owner's wallet card in the glove box
•Is available from your authorized dealer via scan code
•Is marked on the computer module



If the owner's wallet card is lost or missing, the code will be written on the outside of the auto-lock module. Refer to the service manual for your specific Ford vehicle to find the location of you auto-lock module.
