I have a 2008 Ford F150 that has a battery operated keyless keypad entry. It did not work when I bought the truck. I have taken the keypad apart and replaced the battery. All numbers now light up however, the keypad doesn't work. I'm not sure if I need to reprogram the keypad or how to if needed. Any suggestions?

 

 

My fob works fine. The wireless entry pad on the outside of the door is what doesn't work. should that be plug and go or does it require some type of reprogramming when you change the battery.

 

Mine didn't work either , even though I had the correct card with the #s
I took it to the dealer he cycled the key like in the youtube , the keypad blinked , and worked fine after that
