Door lock keypad code?

I have a 99' expy EB with the keypad on the door. I bought the truck used and haven't used it yet as I do not know the code.

Does anyone know how to reset or recover the code?

The funny thing is about finding it, and it does work! Is that there is someone on a certain auction website selling that info for like a 10.00 fee.......lol

Hey, thanks, it worked for me, too!

Now, is there any way to reprogram it to a number of one's choosing?

I got this off the explorer forum, but I'm sure you can find it for your expedition! It worked for me finding the code for my 04 Explorer.

On the eddie bauer edition, its behind the glove box. Pull in the tabs on the side of the glove box & let the glove box drop down. In behind all the wires on the right side is a black box with a sticker on it with 5 numbers on it. This is your keyless entry code. P.S. You'll need a flashlite.

The owner' manual list two possible locations of the 5-digit factory code. One, the code is on a card that came with the owner's manual packet. The second should be taped to the computer module.
