Rust on Driveshaft

Rust on Driveshaft
How much will rust on the driveshaft for my four wheel drive weaken it. It has some pitting in it. I have a truck pull coming up, will it be ok or will it snap like a twig? Thanks

It should be ok, you can wire brush/clean it up and paint it to prevent more rust.
Primary rig is Green Thunder:
95' F-150 XLT 4x4, 302, 5 spd, MSD 6A, Flowmaster American Thunder Exhaust, Sunroof, Clear corners w/ Diamond headlights, CD player with 2 10" subs and some 32" BFG Muds
