Another glowplug thread HAHA

What size wire runs to the plugs and where do they start/split? the insulation has rotted off 7 of them, and i am getting a lot of clicking when i try to start, after the motor is warm they cycle great, but not cold, i am wanting to change the plug feed wires and put new connectors on. i had to change one connector out last week, and it was a blue crimp-on, sorry brain is farting right now,, cant recall the size it is...

you could probably run 14 gauge i believe its a bigger wire than stock but would probably work better.ill see if i can scrouge up a diagram for ya

so, if i were to run a 10 the length and hardwire in some 14 branching out to each, that outta work, right?

I would use 12 to each glow plug.

Remember, 24 amps per glow plug is the cold draw.

i was keeping in mind something yall had said before about the gp circuits being undersized to keep them from burning up to fast and to balance the factory elec system somehow. but if you say 12 is ok, then thats what i will do... i still have the thinking of a residental electrician...
