wire harness
i am changing the valve cover gasket on my truck since it wont start, and the wire harness connector that connects to the valve cover is toasted where the glow plug connector is. what can i do to fix this without replacing the whole wire harness

I used this pigtail connector from Powerstroke Shop: Your Premiere Source for Ford Truck Parts and Accessories
It's Part Number 99-8470
I Soldered and heat shrinked one of these to the main harness. Seemed to do the trick. There are also kits to replace the pins individually, but the complete pigtail seemed like an easier solution for me.

Here is a complete kit to fix everything you have going on. It should be availible at just about every parts store that you can find.
