Swamp's
I understand your frustration, especially regarding the reliability of modified vehicles. You probably had none of these problems when your truck was stock making ~165rwhp.
We are constantly improving our products, refining our machining techniques, developing new products, etc...are you insinuating that every time we improve upon an existing product, that I call each and every customer to solicit another "upgrade" to their existing product?
I guess that you've only ever bought one vehicle (computer, laptop, stereo system, hamburger) in your life, and every 9 months when the manufacturer introduces a new model, that they upgrade you for free.
That must be very nice for you.
I really have no idea as to what exactly was wrong with the wiring on your fuel system. The only change that we have made to the wiring of our OBS fuel systems is changing the relay trigger wire from the alternator to pin#24 on the 42pin engine wiring harness.
If you need updated instructions, shoot me an email and I'll reply with our latest instructions.
take care~

KevinC, I want to apologize to you for all this on your thread. I don't feel I was
but do think I took the wind out of your subject. Again, I apologize for my venting to a very poor business man who is trying his best to make me look like an idoit and himself look good. Action4478, I crossed that line, your right. I brought my last two responses down a couple of notches, thanks.
And Dave, I was asking if there was a tool not for a smart comment. But your probably right, I'll go use my tape measure, what should they be? A c hair under 3/16!?! I'd come off a little less hard if I were yoy, turbo99 about put you out of business in 01' with a bad thread against you.

You sent in chit cores. I declined building a set of injectors that *I* would have to stand behind with junk parts. End of story.
I guess I could have built a half-assed set of injectors with your cores, returned them to you...maybe you wouldn't have noticed the imbalance...maybe you would've...then what?
You call me with "injector problems"...I go back through the tear down, build, & flow sheets to see that we didn't replace anything with new parts, and they are junk...
then what? Of course it's *my* fault for letting that set go out the door with my name on the box..no thank you.
Kevin~
look at this from MY perspective.
Let's lay it out there...
We do our 150cc single shots for trade...anyone that sends in 2 sets of AA cores, will receive back a set of "Baby's" at no charge. We are trading our labor in modification, machine work, o-rings, flow testing, & 2 year WARRANTY for a set of "core" injectors.
Let's say you had sent in the set that are in your truck right now...probably decent enough cores to build a nice flowing set of injectors, with the parts inside of them with some careful machine work...
so, let's say that *I* mod them, return them to you...and then you later send in your "other" cores...the ones I just told you were junk.
2-3 weeks go by...I finally get the cores in...another week or two goes by until we tear them down...and what would I have found? Junk *** cores...not suitable for our purposes.
So, what do I do? I call you and say...hey dude...your cores you sent in were chit...to complete our "trade/deal" in good faith...*I* was to get a rebuildable set of cores...
...of course...seeing how your mistrustful attitude is now (when you have the F'n parts IN YOUR HANDS)...am I to believe that YOU would just say...oh, my bad...sorry Dave...what can I do to make this deal fair on YOUR end?!?
sure.
"I" am the bad guy, Kevin. "I" was out to "screw" you, by just GIVING you a set of injectors...and I would have gotten junk *** cores had you sent your other set in first...
in hindsight...I am surely glad that you didn't send your good set in first..then *I* would have truly been the one screwed...rather than you simply "feeling" scewed, LOL.
take care~

...and Glenn...it's one wire. It triggers the fuel pump relay off of the alternator (originally)...move it to pin #24 and move on....or better yet, reinstall your factory installed mechanical pump...that way there aren't any "icky/scary" wires to worry about.
And yes, I did say I would swap them with George. But, what if I didn't look inside them first and he did after I gave them to him?? That would look bad on me. Who is he going to believe stole his parts? A reputable company or a 22 year old? I undertstand you couldn't do the original deal, fine, but at least you should of sent back MY stuff.
And as was stated earlier, I'm good now that I got my AA's back. That's all I wanted. But your smart comment about measuring them fired me up last night.
I'm pretty sure the only reason Kevin is even mildly ticked is that he didn't get the injectors back that he sent in. If you would have returned to him the injectors that he sent in, I don't think he'd have a bad thing to say about you guys. Doesn't matter what you sent, what parts were good or bad, he feels you did him wrong because you didn't send back what he sent in.
I've dealt with plenty of people myself who have been through this with other companies and they all feel they were shafted.
You and I know that if the 8 Single Shot P&B's in the injectors he sent were shot, sending him Split Shot cores back makes no difference since it would cost him the same in the end to replace the P&B's anyway.
At least that's what I got from all of this...

I don't care if its one wire or a thousand wires, the point is there was NO customer service after the sale. Get it, I doubt it. Glenn
