I will personally return it for you within 30 days if it does not. In exchange for you comments on how good it worked on this thread! Have a great weekend guys
I took the plunge and ordered one on Saturday night. I will be gone through the week but back on Friday. Hopefully I can hook it up by Saturday (without the wife finding out I spent more $...she just let me get some Amp Powersteps...hehe) and will provide feedback. Hope this works.

Thanks for the feedback, the smoke issue is why Ford set the computer up to hold the fuel back. Its smoke or lag...

The smoke can be cool, I will give you that but the problem is the trade off of power.

hey dave i have had a boost builder for over a year with a hypertech programmer i just got 4 injectors changed so i tuned back to stock i dont no if the hypertech cant make any power or what but i have never had so much power without a programmer so the hypertech is now for sale and the boost builder stays in when i can afford an sct with custom tunes i may take it out and try it my truck isnt bone stock my egr is fully deleted, afe intake,4 inch straigt pipe, head studs but it seems very doggy when you unplug the boost builder i have guys with cummins that wont believe me that the truck isnt chipped so all this time instead of running a crappy programmer i could have been making the same power with an 80dollar boost fooler it is a great product on a non tuned truck and i cannot wait to get my hands on some custom tunes to see what i have been missing then its time to start looking for a new turbo lol

So I just want to make sure I am clear on this.

This mod is safe for a non-tuned truck with stock headgaskets, with no worries of overboost?

(I understand that means the truck is in good running condition with no previous problems)

I don't like the heads on the Ford 6.0L in any circumstances, with or without chip. Blowing a head gasket is going to come at max boost pressure... if your are not mashing your foot to the floor with your 10,000lbs plus Ford, chances are your head gasket will be fine.

Get it rolling, then roll into it, don't mash it and spike the boost with or without mods. With a little user responsibility, a boost fooler will never cause a head gasket failure.
