Clunk in the drivers side front

I was wondering if anyone has had this happen and what might have been the cause and fix. I just put new ball joints and sway bar links in the front of my 03 super duty. I still have clunking noises coming from the drivers side front when going over even small bumps. I had someone tell me that they have seen this in a few of these trucks and have not been able to figure out what is clunking. Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks, Don..

Yes, they replaced the vertical arms and they came with new bushings installed in them. Thanks.

I have the same dang problem. I have removed my front sway bar and the problem is still there.

I just had the ball joints (which were shot) replaced so the truck drives a little nicer, but the clunk is still there.

Any advice on this would be great.

The only things I could think of is, ball joints, SB bushings, bad shock or leafspring mounting bushings. Still got to replace my swaybar bushings.

I have a clunk on the left front of my 99 two wheel drive. Everything feels tight, only time I hear it is if i stab the brakes, even lightly, it cluncks. I can feel it under my feet like its the torque arm bushing, but thats tight also?

There are several posts about this in the Excursion forum. Some are able to eliminate this by lubing and or tightening the body mounts. You can find them under the carpet. Pop the kick panel off and peel the carpet back.
