Loud Clunk
I have a 2006 Ford F-350 PowerStroke and not long ago I was driving along and heard a loud "clunk" come from the front driver side wheel area. Along with the "clunk" it felt like I had hit a big bump with that wheel as well but there was no bump or rock or anything else there. Immediately after, it was driving normally but I have noticed recently that if I go over a dip in the road, like a manhole cover, with the drivers side my steering wheel gets one hell of a shimmy and the truck shakes for a bit. Any ideas what this could be? Has anyone else experienced this?

Sway bar bushing, ball joint or steering link, or dead shock probably. Jack up the tire and pry on it, if it pops it's the BJs. Crawl under and inspect every boot in the steering links and see if any are torn open. Look at the bushings on the sway bar links and see if one is rotted/ missing. See if the shock bushings are rotted/missing, try pulling out the bottom bolt and seeing if it's still dampening.
Stock suspension? If the trac bar was unbolted a lot of places won't torque it back correctly, that could also be loose.
