I have a early '99 F250sd and for a while now (a couple of years) there has been this clunking noise that comes from the front axle when ever I go over a bump. I had bad ball joints and just figured it was them making the noise. Well last week I replace the ball joints on both sides and the clunking noise is still there. Any thoughts as to what I should be checking out to try to find and fix the clunking noise. Thanks for your time.

 

sway bar bushings...check out energy suspension components. What happens is that over time the rubber oem bushings wear away, the energy suspension are made out of polyurethane
