C6 quest's
I am looking at having a C6 rebuilt just for 5th wheel,HD towing, behind a 460. Sugestions for Torque Converter, lower gear set, etc.
(I already have trans cooler, temp gauge, deep pan). Thanks for any input. Elliott

For a torque converter, a stock stall would be fine, but I would definetely go with the low gear set. I would use the Borg-Warner clutch/steel/band set from KDS Performance, but which fluid you run is up to you. Pre-76 is type F, post 76 is Mercon/Dexron. As for a shift kit, I would use a mild performance kit, or a specific tow/haul kit.
