Anyone running full rear air suspension on an F350 or F450? Was it factory or change over? (note, I'm not talking about air assist bags).
Thanks, Elliott
sounds like it would turn your truck into an f150 to me. I would never trust airbags for a whole suspension. What if someone doesnt like you and they have a knife? Youre screwed.

Why do you say that? Most new big rigs have air suspensions, and they carry alot more than an F-150 can. I do see the point about someone sticking the bags with a knife, but they could just as easily stick one or all of your tires, I had that happen once only 2 of 6 tires were stuck though.
As for your ? elliott, it's probably a change over, I've never seen on from the factory like that (doesn't mean it can't be factory though). I think Air Ride Technologies has a kit to change them over to air ride.
I've seen pleanty of air bag suspensions for duallies and big trucks. I saw one on Howerspower TV that lowered the truck for cruizin' and lifted it up to stock height for towing. Pleanty strong and chances are they'll pop your tires first before even thinking of the airbag suspension
