E40D to AOD swap
Into a 1990 Bronco 351W going to carb. What do I do about the size of the output shaft for the BW 1356? get new tc?
What about the extension houising from the trans to the tc? anyone got the Ford part number? ANy other suggestions. THe EFI system is shot; i've been to 6 shops including FOrd and they can't figure the missing aside from wanting to put every part known to man to "fix it". I need a new trans anyway and the carburated system is cheaper and less constrained for hotrodding.

E40D to AOD swap
The bolt patterns and size of output shafts should all be about the same. There are different 1356 configureations. Some had electronic 4x4, some have the floor shifter w/linkage. You will need to fab a downshift linkage if you do the swap. Good luck
