E4OD to C6
Any input to changing "from" E4OD "to" a C6 would be helpful. I plan on using a floor shift. Are the flex plates the same? Can a C6 be made to be totaly manual shifting? This trans with a Doug Nash UD will be towing trans. Thanks, Elliott

E4OD to C6
I know that companies sell a kit to make the C-6 full manual. But a guy I work with has a 79 Bronco on a shortened 79 F-250 chassis with a Built 460. He put a shift kit in his C-6 and that thing will snap your head off. He has Dana 70 Rear and a 60 front with 44 inch boggers and it will spin all four tires on pavement through all three gears. I don't advise doing that regularly but for towing a shift kit should be plenty stout and firm shifting. I believe he has a B&M kit in his tranny.
