I will say this. His engine is much prettier than mine turned out. I'm sure by now he's got it in and pulling houses down the street.

I'm not sure I dig the Y-block red, but the boy did do a nice job on it.

its been forever but im back!

Hey everyone i havent talked to all of you in forever! no i havent gotten the motor put in the truck but it is still anxiously sitting pretty on the engine stand. A lot happened in the past few years since ive gotten out of high school. I bought a house, got a puppy pitbull blue heeler mix my woman named FORD, got a 1979 bronco on 42's 15" of lift, an extra t-18 with that nice big 460 bellhousing for the swap (although i will be doing the ZF5 but this will do for now), having a baby boy june 23rd anddd stillll have yet to get that big red and black 460 beast in my 84 f-250. I want to put a dana 80 in the rear with disc brakes. I thought that would be cool, dont have to worry about blowing that one up! Once my kid is born and i get used to the extra BILLS on top of what ive got ill start working on getting the beast in my truck. A little thing called LIFE kind of slowed me down a bit on my project but im still ambitious and will not give up on my dream truck!

I want to thank each and every one of you for all of your input and various opinions on what i should do with my truck, without all of you i would not have learned everything i have about interchage on ford and i have done a lot more homework since. i was 17 then and im 21 now working at my dads auto repair shop in Daytona Beach FL. It may be some time before i get some pictures up but they'll pop up sometime so keep an eye out!

Engine swap

go with the 460 you can't go wrong a 460 will get 10 to 12 mpg a 351w gets around 6 to 8 mpg. I have a 94 f350 with a 351w and duallies with a utility box. Then I have a 78 f150 with a build up 460 to 514 and I'm getting ready to swap out my 351w to a 460
