Yea, I used a complete 6oh intake, and battery tray. I had to modify the battery tray, and I reinforced it with 1" aluminum angle IIRC. I also cut/modified the factory intake boot (7.3), to go between the one the came with the ATS housing(turbo), and the 6oh intake. I coupled the ATS housing boot, and the OEM intake boot together with a piece of 4" SS exhaust I had laying around. I got the idea to use this intake design from the below member, Clux. The 6oh folk say not to change the intake, untill they exceed about 500hp, because it flows enough, and filters just as well as our AIS. (same donaldson powercore type filter) I had an AFE II, AIS, OEM, and this one. For turbo sounds, I prefered the AFE II, for DD and as much highway time as I have, I prefer the 6oh. Its quiet, has great filtering characteristics, and requires no maintenance. I think I remember seeing Izzy show us once how much dust/dirt he had pulled out of one from a military 6oh truck, that still ran.

Thanks Mike.

The only thing I hadnt looked into was the piece of hose to hook the 6.0 filter up to the plastic piece that the CCV hooks into. What all did you have to do to make the factory 7.3 hose piece work? Just cut some off of it?

If you look closely in this picture, you can see what I was talking about. I have a ATS compressor housing on my turbo, and it comes with its own replacement boot. So that goes between the turbo, and 4 piece of 4" SS exhaust that connects it to the remnants of a oem 7.3 intake boot. Which ultimately means, if you can find another 7.3 intake boot, you could do the same. Im sure you can find someone who has gotten an ATS housing, to part with their old boot. I also had to extend the battery + side, the ground was long enough in this fashion of install.

I have to say I would like to have an air box for the 6637 instead of an AIS or 6.0 filter.
