Usually when you get home, how late do you stay up before you go to bed?

I usually stay up about an hr and a half if not longer. The only times I get home from work and go right to bed are when I have to get up and be in by 8 am the next day.

I can imagine it would be hard to come right home and jump into bed. I know when I come back from a fire alarm, I can't get right back into bed.

I will tell you it sucks when you get off at midnight and have to back in by 8 in the morning. I have also had to work 4 to 4. Talk about being tired the next day.

Yeah that would be a real pain. Just be thankful you don't do that often.

I am Doug. Typically only have to be in at 8 for training on Day shift or the 4 to 4 if the next shift doesnt come in or they are training.

A quick good morning George, Brenda, Kevin, Shaun, David, Steve, Barry and the rest of the DE peeps.

Gotta hit the ground running seeing that I lost all of yesterday afternoon due to having to deal with a large grass, brush, woods fire in my district. It ended up burning off about 10 acres of land. More info in NY chapter.
